Helix Workforce Management helps small and mid-sized businesses do the hardest parts of running a company well: hire, pay, insure, and protect their people. We're a team of HR experts, benefits specialists, and technologists who believe great work starts with great support.
Helix was founded in 2026, born out of a company that lived the problem firsthand. As we scaled UrgentFlex across the Southeast, we hit the same wall that stalls so many growing businesses: people operations that were too complex, too fragmented, and too costly to run well. So we built the HR, payroll, benefits, and compliance infrastructure we wished existed.
Then we looked around and realized nearly every SMB near us needed exactly the same thing. We're young by design and deep by background. Our leadership team brings a combined 78 years in the HR and workforce space, and we apply that experience inside a company still small enough to move fast and stay close to every client we take on.
Our strength is healthcare. We understand the compliance weight, the staffing pressure, and the margin discipline that define the sector, because we operate in it ourselves every day. That focus doesn't limit us. We serve businesses across industries, but healthcare is where our expertise runs deepest.
We're just getting started, and the ambition is clear: to become a major player in the PEO and HR world, built on a simple standard of doing right by the people and businesses we serve.
The working principles that shape Helix as an operator-built workforce partner.
Helix was built out of a real operating need, so our systems stay practical, disciplined, and grounded in what businesses actually need day to day.
We simplify fragmented HR, payroll, benefits, and compliance work into one clear operating system that leaders can actually use.
Healthcare is where our expertise runs deepest, and that firsthand knowledge informs how we support regulated, high-pressure workforces.
We stay close to every client we take on, moving with urgency while keeping the kind of access and responsiveness growing companies rarely get.
